We’ve been working along with Facebook and UN for a project against the rise of domestic violence during lockdown.
In Argentina, the reports increased up to 40% and there are at least 67 victims of femicides, transvesticides and transfemicides during isolation.
That’s why Facebook created #StayInTouch a program that helps women isolated with their aggressor and encourages family and friends to take part and do something.
The goal of this project was to give simple advice and quick access to helplines.
The challenge was to represent violence without being explicit.
We had to create videos the victims could watch even with their aggressors nearby, that is why we are not explicitly showing violent scenes, and that is also why we chose this colorful and playful style.
